The State of the Union Address.

Yawn!

We’ve so heard this before.

Year after year.

We are in decline, nearing our fall.

At least we know what it’s like to be Roman citizens.

Although I’d HATE to go down in history as the woman standing there yawning for all posterity.

Or is she actually a screaming Dem?

They ought to revert to submitting the “State of the Union” report in writing.

Those foolish “standing ovations” by the president’s supporters every other sentence are embarassing.

I haven’t paid much attention to any political speeches since before most bloggers were born.

No Kidding! This year he said he wants the US to reduce fuel use by 20% in the next 10 years. Are we to add this to the 20% he said last year? Or the 20% before that? What exactly is 20% of 20% of 20% over the next 5 yr, 4, yr, 10 yr??????? I honestly do not think this is the kind of math Mr Bush should be trying to work on…..kind of dangerous if you think about it.
