This is it! Nana’s nose - pictured is Andy Rooney of course, but he has her nose! - I wonder if I’m related to Andy? (He wouldn’t be invited over unless he trimmed those eyebrows and wore a less novel shirt - I’ll bet his wife picked it out.) Uncle Edmond’s nose looked exactly like Andy’s. Whew! Mine is not that bad! (And this is a young photo of Andy. I just saw the old nose tonight on 60 Minutes and could hardly see his face. Those poor, poor Irish people!)

Well, I couldn’t read the comments left on your other post, or comment myself, as the comment box isn’t coming up (it says something like, ‘What you’re looking for isn’t here’)…
Within the past x # of years, I’ve started calling people ’sweetie’ sometimes - only if I have a great affection for them, & then it comes flying out of my mouth. I used to have a co-worker, & he & I would ‘honey’ & ’sweetie’ & ‘darling’ each other all over the place… & as he was a few years younger, I called him my baby brother…
geez, I can be sappy - but he didn’t mind.

None of my Irish relatives has a nose like that. Not at all. Your relatives must be from a different part of Ireland.

I think so too - Nana said we were lace curtain, but I’m pretty sure we were shanty.
