Interesting thoughts once again from Ken at Hallowed Ground. He points out that it took nearly 40 years for St. Pius X to be canonized and wonders aloud concerning the haste to canonize Pope John Paul II. He makes a good point.
The post is entitled, “If only they listened” and contains a quote from Pius X on the suitability of seminary professors and men presenting for ordination.
Indeed, if only they had listened.
