Fame - I’m going to live forever!
Nice work NBC News - and all the other networks for that matter. Release Cho’s tapes and give him the fame he desired. NBC’s ratings and market share for their broadcast was off the charts - leaving poor Katie Couric in the dust. Talk about irresponsible journalism and tabloid TV.
“Fame, nien! its mine! is just his line
To bind your time, it drives you to, crime
Fame (fame)” - David Bowie
33 dead at Virginia Tech - 200 dead in Bagdad yesterday - who got the news? A psychotic killer and his video tapes. (Oh, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg, pissing and moaning that the country is going backwards because of the Court’s decision concerning partial birth abortion.)
Weird values in this country…really weird.

It’s amazing how the Main Stream Media can capture the conversation on certain topics to the point that even without trying, one can become an expert on some events without effort.
I read very little on purpose about the OJ trial. Yet I probably was as knowledgeable as most about what happened without ever once watching the evening news reports.
I haven’t watched any news reports on the VA Tech incident, have read a few newspaper articles, and already, I probably know all the principal details.
I sure hope I never become the subject of one of these Media Carnivals. Maybe I should get all you bloggers to sign confidentiality agreements.
