It’s only recently that I began to understand “poverty of spirit”, and that is the definition of humility; the docile acceptance of God’s will in all things, recognizing that everything we are, everything we have from the tangible to the intangible, comes from Him alone.
We in our arrogance think we have control over our lifes; we don’t. How God must chuckle at our bumbling ways.
