My understanding is that whites have the highest rates of contraception and the lowest rates of abortion. In other words, a good many of those 45 million American children were not white. Were abortion outlawed tomorrow, the non-white population would increase at a faster rate than the white population. Buchanan needs to find another argument.

Perhaps some Californians left for racial reasons, but the majority left because they can no longer afford to raise their families here.

Thanks Jeff for giving some perspective concerning Mr. Buchanan’s remarks. I never know about him.

I lived for 3 years in South Texas. I found it more of a hispanic culture than a white culture - which is not to say the hispanic culture was bad. I greatly admired the Catholicism of the hispanic culture, they are hard workers, polite and kind - most first and second generation Mexican immigrants. Oh and the Tex Mex food is to DIE for.
But its true, we are not reproducing, American whites have bought the “its all about me and my stuff” culture and think of themselves. I think only the Lord can fix this problem.

The Native Americans must be crying in their soup for all the poor displaced whites. What goes round, comes round. Also, what does it matter what colour people are? I thought Christians believe all humans are equal in the sight of God.
