How not to get elected president.

Hillary Clinton

With estimates from 0.7% up to 2% of the population in the United States identifying as homosexual - incidentally, a far cry from some reports claiming the numbers are as high as 10% - Hillary Clinton may be betting the farm on her Presidential campaign with this one.  (Although, what politician ever keeps campaign promises, especially when your name is Clinton?)  From LifeSite News:

An era of aggressive homosexualist policies is the future for the United States, promises Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, brashly saying when, not if, she becomes President in 2009.

.
Hillary Clinton, former First Lady and junior Senator from New York, released a statement for “Gay and Lesbian Pride Month” in which she told homosexual activists that the victories for the homosexual agenda obtained by Congressional Democrats and others in the past year are only shades of things to come. - LifeSite News

Shades of things to come - indeed.

Mrs. Clinton promises to expand federal hate crimes laws, as well as the military policy of “Don’t ask, don’t tell” - which, ironically enough could have been the tag line describing her husband’s administration.

So talk about the advent of religious persecution by government, if Hillary gets her way, Christians would not be able to teach that homosexuality is a moral disorder, much less denounce same sex marriage as intrinsically evil and a threat to family life.

Ya can’t always get what ya want…

Claiming her faith got her through her marital woes, Mrs. Clinton is on record, siding with the gay agenda, that is clear - so one wonders what faith she aspires to?  In the process of becoming the gay agenda’s homey, she will lose the majority of Americans who are against homosexual marriage.  Add this number into the pro-life numbers, and it seems to me she has a pretty slim margin for success.  Despite what popular media tries to tell us.

Giving credit where credit is due, the Clintons are brilliant, calculating strategists - with an agenda…but they cannot be trusted.  Gay activists may have a rosy outlook on a future with Mrs. Clinton, but if Hillary gets in office, I doubt if they should trust she’ll always be on their side.  Bill wasn’t, and Hillary hasn’t always been either.  The Clintons do what is best for them, and their legacy - not the people who elected them.

Terry-Very well done. It was Bill who was supposed to implement this sweeping openness for gays in the military but then backed down. It’s Hillary who was all about universal health care but now, today, she’s backing down on that platform already.

You nailed it. It’s all about what gets them elected.

“Your friend today, your worst nightmare tomorrow.” That should be her campaign slogan! I may have found myself a new job! Oh, joy!

    True story.
