How Mass and Holy Communion is the highest form of prayer.

“It is impossible for a believer to be saved, or to receive remission of sins and be admitted to the kingdom of heaven, unless in fear, faith and love he receives communion of the pure Mysteries of the Body and blood of Christ.” - St. Nilus of Sinai

I love the intimacy of daily morning (early morning) Mass, but most especially our *Courage* Masses which we celebrate on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Simple, beautiful, and overflowing with grace.

I have recently been volunteering at a hospital where I bring Holy Communion to the sick and to hospice patients.

Had I known forty years ago of the graces made available to me and to the communicants, I would have been in the seminary at once.
