Muslims not free to worship in Europe?
Saudi Arabia complains that Muslims cannot practice their faith freely in Europe. Huh? As if Christians have freedom of religion in Muslim countries? I have yet to hear of Muslims being beheaded in Europe or any other Christian country.
Parishioners and priests asked to pay up.
San Diego Bishop Robert Brom has sent out an appeal for clergy and faithful to contribute towards paying for the 198.1 million dollars in reparations to victim of the child sex abuse scandal. This “invitation” to pay comes from the same man who promised that parishioners would not have to pay for the abuse settlements, as well as promising that no “tax” would be exacted from parishes to pay for the sins of the fathers. (Well, I suppose it doesn’t hurt to ‘ask’.)
Like I said, you couldn’t make this stuff up.
