Catholic News Service has nothing on the recent Archbishop Niederauer or Bishop Todd Brown scandals. Isn’t that weird?

Maybe that’s because one of their articles mentions that American Catholics know more Big Mac ingredients than Commandments. (So, it’s even worse than we feared.. it’s not only that too many think the Eucharist is mere symbol, which was quite dangerous enough.) That is where my greater interest would be as well, for there have always been scandals in both the flock and shepherds, and as has been said, if we ourselves haven’t taken down our church yet, it can’t be done.

Whether it’s hetero- or homosexual dallyings, any practicing RC clergy is going against Rome itself’s adamant insistence upon celibacy. But it’s for Rome to know and fix, or to order it be fixed. This is not a corporation, but a family.

Not all who say “Lord, Lord” are applauded by Him. He asked us to go and learn what this means: Mercy, not sacrifice. When the laity try to publicly cast out devils by outing faulty or even egregious shepherds, ignoring how Canon Law says we are to go about that, we become our own wolf in our midst.

Perhaps there needs to be called a synod to educate all Bishops in how to deal with the things and/or minions that are coming at the Church with such malevolence. I’d push for that, I’d petition for that. Such a synod would reveal to any errant bishops as well, their own sin.

Read “The Rite of Sodomy” by Randy Engel. It will tell you all you should know about the wayward bishops, priests, etc., since 1924. The Catholic Church has been inundated with the Homosexual Collective. We need informed Catholics, not Catholics who are CINO.
