Happy Holidays - yeah, right…

A blessed Christmas - much better.

So I got 3 returned Christmas cards this year, because 2 of the people I sent to have died, 1 lady is in a “memory care” home - she has Ahlzheimers.  One of my friends, a former employee, just got out of the hospital after a bi-polar related episodic event.  She had made terroristic threats when her meds had ceased their effectiveness, and an appointment had been missed.  I only found out about it after I called to check up on her the other evening around 6:30PM.  (She yelled at me for calling so early in the morning!  I finally convinced her it was evening.  Fortunately I never annoy her, and we laughed about all of the “misunderstandings” she has been through - she totaled her car as well.)

So yeah - just remember the holidays are really rough for some people.  Not just people with emotional or mental difficulties, but people who are physically ill as well.

Oh!  And please pray for Ken from Hallowed Ground  - he is not feeling well… I mean, really not feeling well.

Anyway - I recommend that we pray to St. Joseph - Christmas was sort of a worry to him too.

I have such a favorable impression of St. Joseph. He seems to have been one of these individuals whose kindness and benevolence dominated his character.

I have just said a prayer for Ken. Very kind of you to bring it up.

    1.I will pray for Ken.

    2. I saw the TV show “Intervention” where family and friends attempt to get addicts into rehab–but first they show the addict in action, out of control, it was horrible but I couldn’t stop watching, thinking, this is what’s happening to poor souls who Our Lord desperately loves—they are living in hell on earth and need our prayers. And true, the holidays mean nothing to them because they are very ill—
