Gay clubs on campus.

A recent study reports nearly half of all Catholic Universities host pro-gay clubs on campus.

“These groups tend to celebrate the homosexual lifestyle and promote a social environment that condones homosexual activity,” he told CitizenLink. “That is inconsistent with a Christian university’s responsibility to encourage chastity and students’ moral formation. It would be more appropriate to provide faithful pastoral care for students wrestling with their sexuality.” - Source

Doh!  So do Catholic high schools.  I’ve been told of two locally.  I’m not sure about Catholic elementary education, but I’m sure organizations such as the so-called  Catholic Pastoral Committee On Sexual Minorities are doing their best to infiltrate the schools.

Parents - you get what you pay for, and sometimess a little bit more.

I just have to be a bit crude here, but having a club based on ones homosexuality makes about as much sense as a club for people that only do “it” doggie style.

If all the gay club does is lame shadow bird impression (so lame, they don’t even have the lights out) than what’s to fear?

    I know, I know…

I agree it’s scary. Between the gay lobby and the anti-Catholic teachers in Catholic schools, no wonder so many are choosing to homeschool.

I wish these schools would just drop the pretense and stop calling themselves Catholic.

‘no wonder so many are choosing to homeschool.’

    Yep, that would be me!

Homeschooling reminds me of those Irish monks that kept civilization alive after Rome fell — each one of them in their own little hut!

It will be very interesting to see how Pope Benedict addresses the Catholic educational community when he is here. As I understand it, it will not be just university heads he meets with, but high school and elementary representatives as well.
