The feast of St. Rocco

I have nowhere to lay my head…
St. Roch was a pilgrim and a Franciscan tertiary, he is also the patron of victims of the plague and invalids. Today is his feast day and Thom from Ad Domminum will be received/professed into the Franciscan Third Order Secular today. Please keep Thom in your prayers. (In some places his feast day is observed on the 17 of August.)

It is also the Feast of St Stephen of Hungary, and in the traditional calendar St Joachim, father of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

I went to Ad Domminum, he has a very nice prayer.( I will send it to my brother) Then I notice a “Vote Obama 08′ ” so I click on it to see who my traitor brothers ,and sisters in Christ might be.(I know that McCain is only a hair better, um hare better , jackrabbit, um jackass oh whatever. He isn’t much better) The Obama site wont let you out once you go in. You have to completely log off. I know it is a sin to believe in Omens, but it sorta creeped me out. Like the hotel California song……
(Maybe a bit like me I creep back in to the Terry zone. Sorry I really like you people)

Dear Mr. Mark , The problem is that Obama has Satan’s cell phone number on his speed dial , (I think that I read that on Drudge) ,and Satan is listed as one of his best friends on his facebook profile.
They both love to view the Marilyn Manson videos on youtube together , and they always swap songs..
Here is their new favorite song. They have both been so victimized ,and demonized in the past,and both are so delusional.

Hrmm… not that I agree with Obama’s pro-choice position, but how does McCain stand on other issues of Catholic social teachings? (I only today learnt the other guy’s name!)

Dear Mr. Thom, Because I am a convert I don’t understand what the three knots are for. So here are my best guesses.( I am a very sinful Catholic so cut me some slack here,and I am not too bright either.)
The first knot is for your head . It’s tied real tight,and it goes all the way around the circumference of your head. It represents all of those fun brain teasers, or puzzles that the Lord finds so amusing. All of those complicated thoughts about him, that he wants you to ponder. All so that you might know him more fully.
The second knot is again tied real tight, this one is around your heart. God has lassoed your heart ,and claimed it for himself. And in return your heart aches for him ,and longs for him ,yet it is never fully recovered until it is back where it belongs,with him.
The third knot is around your waist much like a slave tied to his master…. You will be on a very short leash too, so that God can easily draw you close while he whispers clearly in your ear,about how very much he loves ,and adores you, and better yet he will say “your my most favorite soul”.(He’s such a sweet talker)
I might be off a bit, so what are the 3 knots for?
