The Ron Paul Convention

$17.76 to get in.
Yep. Ron Paul is having a convention in Minneapolis as well - it is in Blaine, MN. I believe Blaine is a suburb. But he is here and the rally is tonight in downtown MPLS. A plane with a trailer message flew overhead yesterday and Sunday announcing it.
“Ronvoys” of chartered vans have been streaming in since the weekend. Supporters are camping at an organic dairy farm in Goodhue, Minn., that is home to “Ronstock ’08,” a six-day culture-fest where the farmer’s neighbor has reportedly donated a cow to the food offerings. And thousands are expected in downtown Minneapolis Tuesday for the 10-hour marquee “Rally for The Republic,” featuring speakers from former governors Jesse Ventura of Minnesota and Gary Johnson of New Mexico to antitax activist Grover Norquist and MSNBC correspondent Tucker Carlson. - Story
(And yet… Jesse Ventura will be there.)
It is believed most Ron Paul supporters - if indeed they do vote - will back John McCain come November, “even if they have to hold their nose” - while others may simply write Dr. Paul in.

Dear Mr.Terry ,
I have children that have to be dropped off to 4 different schools in the mornings, and
I have a cell phone that my 27 year old daughter bought for me, because she wants me to be accessible to her at all times. Seriously ! Yep that’s a really long umbilical cord.
Now my phone number is the only number on the entire planet that belongs only to me ,oh except for my social security number which I share with a handful of illegal Mexicans scattered through out the U.S.,and possibly Canada.
My other daughter “Rose” calls me from school while I am driving ,and I answer my cell phone ,and I hear from on the other end, “um, a, um, um, a, um”, “May I please ask who I am speaking to?” “I say “yeah , it’s your mother”, “what do you want?” She says’s “oh I forgot my lunch today can you come ,and bring me one?” I said “no” , “remember I said to order a hot lunch today?” Oh ,yeah I forgot she said. Then I said “I love you Rosie ,have a great day at school today” ,and she said , “um yeah” ,”bye”.
So the point of my story is that my little darlings will forget all about me even before my body gets cold. Geese Rosie can’t even recognize the sound of my voice after 15 minutes.

Dear Mr.Terry,
Given Mr.Leo’s track record he does seem to be a team player. I think that he simply made an error in judgement. As I have done innumerable times here.
I didn’t make the same connection that you did.
I am spiritually further behind than you are. I thought that Leo was simply in the “Christmas Spirit” the same Christmas spirit that my sweet husband carries in his heart year round. (He asked me to have “The Walton’s Christmas movie ready for him when he comes home tonight) UGGGH!

You sorta went for the Leo’s throat here ,and we know ,that I know , about that sort of thing. Yep, and yet again I am sorry.
Now ,I have to say ,that I absolutely love the kinda guy that loves babies, loves people with challenges, and sleeps in his “super charged Ford Pinto wagon”

making penances ,and sacrifices on behalf of the poor, and for his fellow man.
Whilst you work on your new songs for the church “choir”. So I have become super fond of you , but I really wanna slug you like a brother.
Besides people of Texas aren’t so dumb. Oh they had one dumb member once ,but they sent him to the “White House”,um two, remember Johnson?
My husband requested chili, with cinnamon rolls for dinner so I better hop to it. I will make some for our Priests,(they love em’)I use cinnamon from Saigon, it has a sweeter, spicier, and hotter flavor.
I would be glad to send you some for real. Just send a self addressed stamped envelope to Belin……..um…. Never mind Frank might be watching.
Oh,and about my “chili” I am gonna kick some ass at the next parish cook off.
(I think that’s funny)
